Collaboration piece : Exotic Padauk Wood, Larimar, Labradorite, Aquamarine, Kyanite, and Watermelon Tourmaline
One of a kind piece!
The wooden base was designed by me and created by a very creative artist - check out her page at Tanjasova.etsy.com if you are interested. She does AMAZING custom work and also has premade pieces. The wood is an exotic hardwood from Africa called Padauk .
The wood is made to trace the collarbone and accentuate the female figure. It is 8.5 inches long.
Wire wrapped onto the wood with Sterling Silver and Copper are a variety of Crystals and Gemstones. In the middle is a very nice piece of Larimar from the Carribbean. On either side of that are top quality terminated Aquamarine Crystals from Namibia (Africa). Outside of the Aquamarines are Kyanite pieces, from Brazil. Then on either side of those are Labradorite cabochons -- for those who are not familiar with Labradorite, it is a fascinating stone that is reflective of light, with markings shining blue, purple, and green in different lights and from different angles. In the outside corners are pieces of Watermelon Tourmaline.
The chain is a vintage Copper chain, and I have used my favorite type of clasp, which consists of a hook and a infinity symbol - its really easy to get on and off yet stays put!
