Risedesigns: nice man. where are you taking metalsmithing classes? not to be negative, but in the 5th shot your bezel set topaz facet looks crooked. you may want to run your burnisher and press your bezel so the stone is more secure. Honestly though, your progressing leaps and bounds with each piece. good work-

Betty And Dupree Designs: o i didnt mention that i still have to set the stone, lol i havent really pushed the bezel in much at all. and i still got to do the final sand and buff out. kinda went out of order with it cause i didnt know where it was going from one step to another. ended up melting the rose a bit if ya can tell. :-0
thanks so much for the responses and help. still trying to get a technique to this and my teacher wont let me use the mini torch heads that i really think would be perfects. BTW im taking jewelry classes at CLC in grayslake IL. teacher doesnt know half as much as some of the students and is really closed minded(flat out told me i would never be able to do any of the things i ended up doing in this peice). so im learning alot from many people and let me say there is some amazing talent in the class.
