black opal, tanzanite, tanzanian diopside, .999, .925, aregentium. this piece came out pretty clean and pretty flat- flatness being something i've been trying to work on. all-in-all i am pretty happy with this piece- the flow aspect of my work seems to be improving a lot. plenty of room for style and technique to evolve, to be sure, but i think this piece is pretty neat, and i am definitely encouraged by the outcome.

My name is nick. I am 27 years old and I live out in the cut in Southeast Ohio. I have been collecting rocks since I was 15, and I started making jewelry about 16 months ago. Since then, I've become really boring because this is about all I want to do. Thanks to everyone who has encouraged me with their kind words, constructive criticism, and tips. Also, thanks to all the metalworkers.org artists whose work consistently baffles and inspires me. :) Please leave me comments- I'm after some feedback!
