Ok so I like to word "spiffy"...
This piece is awesome, I love it. I usually don't feel like wearing new work but every now and then there's a piece that I can't help but rock around town. This is one of them for sure...
The pear cut tourmaline in this wrap is from a very small Indian deposit discovered many years ago which no longer produces material today. I got about 6 facets from that locale over a year ago and this is only the 2nd I've been able to part with.
By the way, this wrap is a small one... It measures 1 3/4 inches long by just under an inch wide.
This wrap contains: - All sterling silver wire and sheet - Bezel set, pear cut blue/green tourmaline (India) - Bezel set, round cut blue apatite (Brazil)

This side view shows how the piece is encased in a silver shell on the sides and back. I really like the effect this lends to the piece and it makes the wrap feel very solid.

Spiffy...
Anyone who has a problem with the word spiffy has no soul. I think spiffy is one of those amazing, underused word. This piece is amazing, and spiffy! Love the metalwork in it! So effing spiffy!
