The process of transformation, whether from inspiration to idea, imagrey to form, base metal to white gold...these are the realms within which the alchemist works, ever transmutating, altering, collapsing, coallescing, creating... Its been a long time brewing in the cosmic stew, but here I am, at long last...and this is just the beginning of an epic saga... Join me as I attempt venture beyond my imagination's horizons, and test the limits of my hand/(3rd)eye coordination.. together we'll explore what lies there and beyond...and we'll either come running home with wet pants or knighted as jedis. or perhaps both. nothing is a dichotomy. *namaste*

This is my pride and joy, a stylized belt buckle made by the process of lost-wax casting. Hand carved and cast myself, this piece took many hours of careful and skilled labor to get it "just right".

This is a new line/niche genre I'm starting, featuring new interpretations of an old motif! Each piece is a handcrafted original, cast with real leaves using the lost-wax process. The resultant detail and texture that is captured is pretty amazing, you can see every little vein and serration! The leaf portion of the silver is given a high polish, and highlighted by applying a velvety black patina on the surrounding silver. Stay tuned for more innovations and adaptations, this is gonna be a fun one! note: you might notice there is some variability in the color tones of some of these pics...I'm still working on finding proper lighting for these pics. The best one, the one that best captures how all of these pieces actually look (in terms of tone and color) would be the "Indicuff" one. pps- this page is powered by corn-based snack chips. nomnomnomnomnomnomnom

Another lost-wax cast piece, featuring an aquamarine flanked by two iolites, encased in a unique "pod" like form.

This one is fun- a double-knuckle ring featuring a rare orange tourmaline! This particular tourmaline's tabular shape naturally lent itself to this mounting, and from there it was a mere hop & skip to the double-ring idea!

The pattern around the edge is inspired by the I-Ching, though those who know me will insist, with a wry smile, that I need to stop geeking out on Lost ;) In the center is a peridot, in a "Laylo rigged" prong setting.

This is one of my most prized pieces- another painstakingly hand-crafted piece, and also my first try at gypsy setting. Lotsa sweat & tears shed in the process (especially when I shattered a fire opal!), stone-setting is definitely a process mastered only thru practice & infinite patience.
