Just finished this piece tonight... Going to see Telepath after I post it up :)
This wrap contains:
- All sterling silver sheet and wire
- Bezel set blue sapphire (Brazil)
- Bezel set blue sapphire (Sri Lanka)
- Bezel set aquamarine (Brazil)
- Emerald crystal (Muzo mine, Bogota, Colombia)
This piece is a cool one... I used this stipple texture I've been using in my silversmith work lately and it turned out really nicely. The cut stones are all bezel set and then engulfed in crazy coil stuff. Makes for a really organic feel I think. The colors really pop in person too.
As a side note... While making this piece, my pliers slipped and gashed my hand pretty good as seen in the 3rd pic. YAY! Worry not, no blood got onto the piece and I washed the pliers and my hand before going back to work :)
