Metallic Kephera Incarnate ...Kephera is the solar scarab Neter that pushes the sun across the sky daily. As the dung beetle does in Egypt, with its eggs in the ball of dung waiting to hatch and be reborn as the sun also is reborn everyday. To take this embodyment and apply it to the magnifying glass one can connect to the suns rays and create a flame. This was the original intention, to give thanks with the suns light energy. This piece came about the last project of the first semester working with metal at Humboldt State...
