Also I have just completed my website! it is www.sarahlewisjewelry.com. until now, i had my metal work here, my glass work on glassartists, and combo pieces on both. now, its all more organized on one site! i will continue to update these sites too though. I would love any feedback! thanks, sarah

Sarah Lewis was born and raised in upstate New York. She has been working with borosilicate glass since 2000. Sarah started learning lampworking at the Museum Glass Works in Ballston Spa, NY, attended several lampworking workshops and has learned techniques from friends over the years. While living in Arizona, Sarah started learning metalworking and the lapidary arts and combining these disciplines with her glasswork. She is currently attending the Savannah College of Art and Design for metals and jewelry and product design. Sarah draws most of her inspiration from nature and is very passionate about her work. Her work can be viewed at www.glassartists.org/sarah and www.metalworkers.org/sarah. Please email the artist with any comments or questions or to purchase work. Thanks for looking!

These pieces represent a time of experimentation, dedication to learning technique, falling in love with glass, silver and stone, and a search for consistent style.

2007 has been a year of growth and development of a unique aesthetic. I strived to combine glass, silver and stone in innovative ways. I completed a collection of rings for a solo exhibition and took on a large commission project for the disco biscuits. As I am wrapping up my degree at SCAD, my thoughts are filled with future plans for 2008.

killer work
I really like your work. really clean silver smithing. do you have any wraps in a store in ahseville called cornerstone minerals? we have 4 pieces at the store that look a lot like some of your wire pieces.
Keep psoting more stuff, I dig it. the friendship pendants have a killer contour and flow.
peace, Isaac

question-
hey sarah, can you slice rhodesecrite stalagtite? or if you cant, can you reccomend someone who will do it and not tax me to death? my piece is like over a foot long, and a foot wide, weighing in around 20 pounds.. it would produce ALOT of slices, and me and my boy are looking to get it cut. let me know-
