tsavorite, opal, kyanite, tourmaline, 2 aquas, 2 herkies, purple scapolite in the back. 3 1/8" x 1 1/2" (8 cm x 4 cm). 52.2 g (1.68 ozt). It's a little heavy and gaudy as all get out, but so is Michael. This is the first piece I did using a frame. It turned out cool, i think, and i like this technique, but I think I need to cut the size down in the future, as I left a lot of space to fill. Overall though, I think this piece looks pretty decent.

My name is nick. I am 27 years old and I live out in the cut in Southeast Ohio. I have been collecting rocks since I was 15, and I started making jewelry about 16 months ago. Since then, I've become really boring because this is about all I want to do. Thanks to everyone who has encouraged me with their kind words, constructive criticism, and tips. Also, thanks to all the metalworkers.org artists whose work consistently baffles and inspires me. :) Please leave me comments- I'm after some feedback!
