Further Study of Vessels

Posted by Delia Stone on 8/14/2010
This is my second vessel. I spent a little time coiling on this one, unlike my first one. The coiling isn't perfect but I learned a few things in the process so that's a good thing. I wanted to see if I could round the lid off this time - which I managed to pull off. I am encouraged by Mary's vessels despite my modest beginnings, so I will continue to experiment and work towards refinement.

Creating artful jewelry is my passion. I enjoy working with wire. I've taken metal-smithing classes but wire wrap remains my first love. The process of making jewelry is almost like alchemy to me - transforming a pile of beads and wire into something wonderful and pleasing to the eye. I love the challenge of bringing a vision to life to share it with others.
I also do custom work. Please feel free to contact me with questions or comments.
