The Phoenix

This custom talisman contains a Deep Blue Tanzanite, a green Tanzanite, Diopside Crystal, Alexandrite Crystal, Tsavorite Garnet & Amethyst Crystal, all from the Merelani Hills, near Arusha, Tanzania. Also included is a Sugalite Cabochon from Madagascar, a Tourmaline Crystal from Afghanistan, and on the backside is a Herkimer & Lemurian Quartz Crystal.

This gems in this wrap are some of the finest I have worked with. The beginning theme of Greens, Blues & Purples quickly reveled a side profile of "The Phoenix", which I've now learned the oldest mythology surrounding the Phoenix depicts it in these colors, rather than the more known coloring of Red & Gold. The Sugalite eye of the Phoenix also doubles as an eye of the Ganesha, with the Tourmaline as the trunk & Garnet Tusk...
